Built From a Better Idea
In the mid-1990s, Andrew Lauden set out to solve a simple problem: a woman who loved boxing wanted to train at home, but the equipment available wasn’t strong or stable enough for the way she trained.
So he built something better.
That first boxing stand was built for her. Friends and gyms soon wanted one of their own, and that one idea became Balazs.
And That Woman?
She’s still part of the story.
Today, Balazs is a woman-led, family-owned business. The same woman who inspired that first piece of equipment is now helping lead the company that grew from it.
It’s a story we think says a lot about who we are.
Balazs wasn’t created because there was a market opportunity for another piece of boxing equipment. It started because someone needed equipment that actually worked.
We still think about products the same way.
Built for Serious Training
For nearly three decades, we’ve been designing and manufacturing boxing and fitness equipment with the same basic priorities:
Strength. Stability. Durability.
Our equipment is built for real training, from home gyms to professional boxing and MMA facilities, universities, military and training facilities, and commercial gyms.
We don’t build equipment to sit in a showroom. We build it to be used.
Made in the USA
We manufacture our steel equipment in Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on practical engineering, durable materials, and construction that can stand up to years of use.
That’s been part of the Balazs approach from the beginning: build it well, make it useful, and stand behind it.
From One Stand to a Complete Training Environment
What started with one homemade boxing stand has grown into a complete line of boxing and fitness equipment.
Today, Balazs offers:
- Speed bag platforms and swivels
- Heavy bag stands and mounting systems
- Boxing stands and training stations
- Commercial boxing systems
- Pull-up bars and fitness equipment
- Boxing bags, gloves, and training accessories
Our equipment is used by serious athletes, coaches, gyms, schools, universities, military and government facilities, and home trainers.
Still Building Better
The products have changed. The company has grown. But the idea that started Balazs hasn’t changed.
Build equipment that works.
Build it strong.
Build it to last.
Balazs Boxing. Built for serious training.
