Wall stations put bags around the edge of a room that is already doing something else in the middle.
The wall has to be rated for the load, which is the first thing we check. Where it is not, a wall-attached post landing on the slab puts the vertical load into the floor instead.

Structure
What your wall needs
A wall station puts the bag’s load into the building, so the wall is the first thing we look at rather than the last. What a given wall can carry depends on how it is built and what sits behind the finish, and that is a question for the drawings, not for a web page.
In practice there are two paths. Where the wall carries the load, the station mounts to it directly. Where it does not — or where nobody can tell us what is behind it — a wall-attached post carries the vertical load down to the slab and uses the wall only for lateral restraint. The second path is a normal outcome in older buildings, not a fallback.
Send the room and whatever you know about its construction. If that includes drawings, send those. Balazs reviews the structure as part of the layout, and the quote states what the installation requires.
