Write a ReviewThe Balazs i-Box Speed Bag Platform is a heavy-duty, high-quality platform built for athletes of all experience levels and for training spaces ranging from home gyms to professional boxing facilities.
Designed with the same quality philosophy as Balazs Boxing’s professional products, the Balazs i-Box Speed Bag Platform features a super-stiff V-frame bracket made from 11-gauge steel tubing, resulting in superior strength and vibration resistance. The glossy powder-coat finish adds style while providing scratch resistance and durability. The clear-coated 1-1/4 inch thick manufactured wood drum is 24 inches in diameter, allowing any size speed bag to be used.
This boxing speed bag platform continuously adjusts more than 12 inches vertically to accommodate various speed bag sizes and everyone in your family. The easy-to-grip ergonomic star knobs lock tight against the rails for a secure hold. Their position at the front of the rails makes it very easy to adjust the height. For extra safety and sturdiness, the height adjustment is secured with four star knobs.
The Balazs i-Box Speed Bag Platform includes a quiet and easy-to-use Pro-Level 3 Swivel, a chrome-plated full ball bearing construction with a four-hole mount. It’s smooth, non-directional, and its pull-pin design makes changing bags easy. You’ll get highly accurate rebounds and consistent reactions, which will elevate your proficiency and accelerate your learning curve.
The Balazs i-Box Speed Bag Platform is available in six different colors: Red, Black, White, Blue, Grey, and Yellow.
The hardware to mount the unit to wood-studded walls is included. For mounting to concrete or brick walls, purchase masonry shields locally.
Speed bag sold separately.

The maple platform on the ibox system is great! We’ve been using at the West Coast speedbag gathering all weekend, and it’s a fan favorite. Great for something light and easy to use at home or a gym. The standard is less dense, so you won’t get the same rebound as the maple. Not a bad thing if you’re just starting and don’t need the speed.
Best on the market!
Hands down best on the market!
I purchased this platform in 2012 and mounted to my concrete wall. This platform is still performing very well. I have made my own 3″ maple speed bag platform and recently swapped it out with the standard issue platform it came with. Very well designed, very sturdy. Simply the best. Adjustable up and down and it is very easy. Balaz is the best in the business. Hands down. Andy from Pennsylvania
